Our first white paper “Untying the chains: A Comprehensive Report on the Tethering of Cattle” provides you with comprehensive information on the cruel way in which ‘dairy cows’ and ‘beef cattle’ are kept. It provides strong arguments in favor of banning the tethering of cattle.
Tethering leads to considerable suffering for the animals living in it. Nevertheless, around two million cattle, mainly cows in milk production, still have to live in this husbandry system in German-speaking countries.
